Meet The Team

Annalisa Raghunandan

Annalisa's path to real estate began long before she ever listed a property in the Chirripo Valley. After graduating from Pace University in New York City, she launched her career as a legal secretary at the law office of Milan Patel in Edison, New Jersey, where she immersed herself in residential and commercial real estate closings. Working closely with agents, title companies, and loan officers, she developed a sophisticated understanding of the closing process — but it was the human side of the work that truly lit her up. She quickly realized that real estate transactions are never just business; they are about helping people secure their personal sanctuaries.
That conviction runs deep, and it has roots. Having immigrated with her family from Guyana to New York City in the 1980s, Annalisa witnessed firsthand how transformative the right real estate guidance could be. Raymond Rabath, the agent who helped her parents purchase their first home in New Jersey, didn't just close a deal — he changed the trajectory of her family's life. He also helped Annalisa land her first job in real estate, and she credits him with showing her how profoundly a realtor can shape someone's future. It's a standard she holds herself to with every client she serves.
More than eighteen years ago, Annalisa made her own leap — relocating to the Chirripo Valley and building her life here. She has raised her children in this landscape of cloud forests, mountain peaks, and river valleys, and in doing so has developed an intimate, lived understanding of the region that no amount of research can replicate. She knows the land, the communities, the rhythms of life here, and what it truly means to put down roots in one of Costa Rica's most extraordinary corners.
That depth of experience is what sets her apart. Annalisa is a skilled strategist and an expert at translating complex information into clear, confident guidance — helping clients feel informed and at ease at every stage of the process. Her motto, "I Move Mountains," reflects both her strong sales record in the Chirripo Valley and her unwavering commitment to helping families succeed in real estate investment and legacy building.
